    Description

    In our surf lessons for beginners in Ferrol, we focus on three main objectives:

    1. Have fun: We want you to enjoy every moment in the water while learning to surf. Surfing is an exciting sport and we want you to experience the joy and fun it offers.
    2. Safety at sea: Safety is our top priority. You will learn the precautions and techniques necessary to navigate safely at sea. Our highly trained instructors will guide you and give you the essential skills to face any situation in the water.
    3. Learn how to stand up on a surfboard: We focus on giving you the tools and basic foundations so you can stand up on a surfboard. Our instructors will teach you the proper techniques and provide you with the necessary support so that you can progress and develop as a surfer.

    Surfing is a wonderful sport, but we know it can be challenging at first. At Ondas Novas, we will accompany you step by step on your learning journey, establishing a solid foundation for you to grow as a surfer.

    If you are looking for flexibility in your schedule, we also offer “Packs” that give you a reduced price and allow you to choose the day and time of your classes, within the options we offer.

    Our beginner classes are also ideal for those who wish to have an initial experience and a first contact with surfing. They are perfect to enjoy with family, friends or colleagues, and spend a memorable day together.

    A small group surf lesson, lasting approximately 2 hours, in Valdoviño. The surfboard and wetsuit are included in the price.

    What to bring

    What you would take for a day at the beach: towel, flip-flops, water, etc. If you are a very cold person, for winter classes, we recommend that you acquire your own hood and booties.

    What to expect

    In the beginner classes we will work on the safety rules at sea and practice the technique of standing up on the board. On days with little waves we will also learn to catch the waves in the break and identify which side to surf them on.

    Parking at Pantín Beach. Depending on the weather conditions we will move to Villarube Beach. See map

    We do not offer shuttle service.

    Ondas Novas

    Ondas Novas es una escuela de surf itinerante y unipersonal situada en Valdoviño. Habitualmente damos las clases en la preciosa playa de Pantín, pero, según las condiciones meteorológicas, nos desplazamos al spot donde haya mejores olas.

    Damos clases de todos los niveles, desde iniciación hasta competición. Nuestra metodología se diferencia de las otras escuelas por los grupos súper reducidos, de máximo 5 personas. Además, a nuestros clientes habituales les hacemos entrevistas de seguimiento periódicas para establecerles un plan de crecimiento personalizado.

    Nuestras clases incluyen elementos del yoga, skateboarding, apnea y bodysurfing para que te desarrolles plenamente como surfista.

    Contamos con un plan de voluntariado, a través del cual, hacemos el surf accesible a todas aquellas personas y entidades que se puedan beneficiar del surf como herramienta terapéutica.

    Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

    Cambios o cancelación por parte del cliente:
    1. En el caso de que el cliente decida reprogramar o cancelar la actividad reservada  podrá hacerlo de forma GRATUITA, dentro del plazo indicado por la escuela en la información de la misma actividad, a través de la plataforma.
    Accediendo a:
    1. Mi cuenta
      1. Bookings
        1. Reprogramar o cancelar. En este punto podrá elegir la fecha a la cual desea reprogramar su clase o cancelar y optar a la devolución de su importe
    Cambios o cancelación por parte de la escuela:
    1. Si las actividades contratadas son canceladas por motivos meteorológicos (lluvia, vientos extremos, tormenta eléctrica, etc) o por falta de condiciones oportunas para la práctica de dichas actividades (olas en el caso del surf) la escuela propondrá al cliente las siguientes alternativas:
    2. Cambio de fecha para realizar la actividad contratada.
    3. La realización de una actividad alternativa.
    4. Si el cliente no pudiera cambiar las fechas o no estuviera interesado en realizar una actividad alternativa se le ofrecerá un bono equivalente a la cantidad pendiente de la actividad contratada válido por 1 año desde la fecha de emisión.
    5. Devolución del dinero
    1. Las actividades requieren de un número mínimo de clientes para que puedan desarrollarse, el mismo se encuentra especificado en los “REQUISITOS” de la actividad. En el caso de que no se alcance este mínimo la escuela se pondrá en contacto para reprogramar la clase o de no ser posible se le devolverá el importe de abonado.
