    Description

    Surf lesson with Ondas Novas on the beautiful Pantín Beach, in Valdoviño, Galicia.
    Our surf school offers you the perfect opportunity to improve your skills in the water and enter the exciting world of intermediate surfing.
    If you are looking for flexibility in your schedule, we also offer “Packs” that give you a reduced price and allow you to choose the day and time of your classes, within the options we offer.

    In our classes, we will focus on key aspects such as positioning in the water, strategic use of currents, surfing code and priorities. We will learn and perfect the basic maneuvers of surfing, such as cutback, bottom and top turn, snap and floater. In addition, we will develop confidence in waves up to an “overhead” size. We will work on different take-off techniques and learn in which contexts to use them.

    To enrich your experience and improve your performance in the water, our classes also include elements of yoga, freediving, open water swimming and bodysurfing. These practices will help you strengthen your safety and become an independent person in the water, able to enjoy the waves to the fullest.

    At Ondas Novas, we have experienced and passionate instructors who will guide you every step of the way, giving you a safe and fun environment to learn and progress in surfing.

    Services included in this activity

    A small group surf lesson, lasting approximately 2 hours, in Valdoviño. The surfboard and wetsuit are included in the price.

    What to bring

    What you would take for a day at the beach: towel, flip-flops, water, etc. If you are a very cold person, for winter classes, we recommend that you acquire your own hood and booties.

    What to expect

    Basic knowledge of swimming. Let us know if you do not feel comfortable in the water or if you have had any injuries or illnesses that may affect your physical activity.

    Parking Pantín Beach. Depending on the weather conditions we will move to Villarube Beach. See map

    We do not offer shuttle service.

    Ondas Novas

    Ondas Novas es una escuela de surf itinerante y unipersonal situada en Valdoviño. Habitualmente damos las clases en la preciosa playa de Pantín, pero, según las condiciones meteorológicas, nos desplazamos al spot donde haya mejores olas.

    Damos clases de todos los niveles, desde iniciación hasta competición. Nuestra metodología se diferencia de las otras escuelas por los grupos súper reducidos, de máximo 5 personas. Además, a nuestros clientes habituales les hacemos entrevistas de seguimiento periódicas para establecerles un plan de crecimiento personalizado.

    Nuestras clases incluyen elementos del yoga, skateboarding, apnea y bodysurfing para que te desarrolles plenamente como surfista.

    Contamos con un plan de voluntariado, a través del cual, hacemos el surf accesible a todas aquellas personas y entidades que se puedan beneficiar del surf como herramienta terapéutica.

    Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

    Cambios o cancelación por parte del cliente:
    1. En el caso de que el cliente decida reprogramar o cancelar la actividad reservada  podrá hacerlo de forma GRATUITA, dentro del plazo indicado por la escuela en la información de la misma actividad, a través de la plataforma.
    Accediendo a:
    1. Mi cuenta
      1. Bookings
        1. Reprogramar o cancelar. En este punto podrá elegir la fecha a la cual desea reprogramar su clase o cancelar y optar a la devolución de su importe
    Cambios o cancelación por parte de la escuela:
    1. Si las actividades contratadas son canceladas por motivos meteorológicos (lluvia, vientos extremos, tormenta eléctrica, etc) o por falta de condiciones oportunas para la práctica de dichas actividades (olas en el caso del surf) la escuela propondrá al cliente las siguientes alternativas:
    2. Cambio de fecha para realizar la actividad contratada.
    3. La realización de una actividad alternativa.
    4. Si el cliente no pudiera cambiar las fechas o no estuviera interesado en realizar una actividad alternativa se le ofrecerá un bono equivalente a la cantidad pendiente de la actividad contratada válido por 1 año desde la fecha de emisión.
    5. Devolución del dinero
    1. Las actividades requieren de un número mínimo de clientes para que puedan desarrollarse, el mismo se encuentra especificado en los “REQUISITOS” de la actividad. En el caso de que no se alcance este mínimo la escuela se pondrá en contacto para reprogramar la clase o de no ser posible se le devolverá el importe de abonado.
