Surf camp for adults for 5 days at Watsay Surf School

Watsay has a program designed for adults who wish to learn or improve their surfing. In this 5 day camp, they will be taught everything they need so that they can practice this sport safely on their own.

The 5 day adult surf camps offer an international and welcoming atmosphere. Although the average age is usually between 20 and 35 years, there is no age limit to join.

Berria Beach, which extends for more than 2 km, is perfect for surfing in all its variants. With different break areas right in front of the Surf Camp, they adapt to different levels of skill in surfing.

The accommodation is located just 20 meters from the beach, in a surf-hostel that offers all the necessary amenities. With 16 shared rooms for 4 and 6 people in bunk beds, full bathrooms, WIFI, lounges, terraces, private parking and garden areas, participants will have a comfortable and pleasant stay.

One of the remarkable advantages of the Surf Camp is that the school is integrated into the surf-hotel, which means that there will be no need to travel. Participants will be able to put on their wetsuit in their room, pick up the surfboard at the door and start enjoying the experiences it offers.

Food is an important aspect and special attention is given to it. It is understood that surfing requires a great physical effort, so we offer menus designed and prepared with an adequate energy supply, which includes carbohydrates, proteins, local fish and fruits.

In addition to the surf sessions, various complementary activities have been organized to enjoy during the hours out of the water. These activities are divided into three groups:

• Sports activities: Participants will have access to longboards, ping-pong tables, goggles, tubes and fins to snorkel and explore the seabed of the area, volleyball and soccer fields, among other options.
• Taking care of the environment: fun and attractive routes are offered to get to know the ecosystem of the Santoña Marshes and Monte Buciero, promoting environmental awareness.
• Evening activities: In the afternoons and evenings, just 100 meters from the surf camp, is the beach bar “Er Titikaka”, where every day there is a great surfing atmosphere and on Thursdays there are live concerts. For those looking for more fun, the urban centers of Santoña, Laredo and Noja offer a variety of environments. It is important to note that these three urban centers are connected by public transport 24 hours a day, with a stop near the camp.
