    Description

    Surf camps for kids are one of the most popular activities among our students. The popularity of the sport of surfing has grown so much that many kids choose surf camps as their vacation destination.

    The surf camps for minors in Cantabria are located at Berria-Santoña Beach. With over 2 km of sandy beach between Monte Brusco to the west and the Buciero Massif to the east, it is an ideal location for surfing.

    Berria Beach is one of the highest-quality beaches along the Cantabrian coast. It has been awarded the Blue Flag for several years, which attests to its cleanliness and environmental standards.

    In addition, Berria Beach offers optimal conditions for teaching surfing to kids due to the gentle waves with a moderate difficulty level.

    We understand that the safety of your children is a top concern for parents, and at Watsay Surf Camp, we take it very seriously. Your children are under the supervision of certified leisure activity monitors 24 hours a day. We have an internal code of conduct that they must adhere to. You can contact us at any time.

    The surf camp facilities are located just 20 meters away from the beach. The surf hostel provides all the comforts you need, with 16 rooms in bunk bed format for 4, 6, and 8 participants, each with a private bathroom. The hostel also offers amenities such as WiFi, lounges, terraces, and landscaped areas.

    You can put on your wetsuit in the room and head directly to the water. We provide all the necessary equipment on-site, so you don’t need to travel anywhere. As mentioned before, our location is right on the beachfront of Berria Beach.

    One of the things that concerns us is the proper nutrition of our children. We know that surfing is physically demanding, and proper nutrition is very importany for recovery. Our menus are designed and prepared by professionals in food handling.

    We know that you can’t surf 24 hours a day, which is why we have a program of fun and diverse parallel activities. Ping pong, soccer, and beach volleyball tournaments… And our famous surfer parties.

    What to bring

    You don’t need to bring a lot of things as you’ll be spending the whole day at the beach and it’s summer. You can basically bring the usual summer essentials, such as:

    • Sun glasses
    • Beach towel
    • Sandals

    • Learning about the importance of respecting and protecting the oceans and beaches enables children to develop a sense of responsibility and care for the planet.

    Transport

    We provide transfer services for arrivals and departures for those clients who request them from all train stations and airports in Santander, Bilbao, and Laredo. During the month of July, we offer transportation services with our own bus from Madrid to the surf camp and vice versa, with departure and arrival at Plaza de las Ventas. As soon as you have your ticket, please send us the complete details of your arrival to info@watsay.com so that we can arrange your pickup. You can choose the ticket that best suits your needs, preferably between 09:00 and 21:00, as transfers outside of those hours may have an additional fee. Our instructors will be waiting for you upon your arrival!!!

    La escuela de surf Watsay está ubicada a pie de la playa de Berria en Cantabria. Un verdadero paraíso para el surf en plena costa cántabra.

    Un lugar que recoge condiciones óptimas para la práctica y el aprendizaje del surf. En nuestra escuela disponemos de unas instalaciones totalmente acondicionadas. Material de surf renovado y revisado cada año, duchas de agua caliente y monitores titulados.

    En Watsay Surf School nos apasiona la enseñanza del surf, impartimos cursos y clases de surf  para todas las edades y niveles.

    Los años de experiencia nos han permitido desarrollar un método de enseñanza realmente efectivo, aprendemos continuamente de nuestros alumnos, observamos sus mejoras y progresos y aprendemos de nuestros errores.

    Esto nos ha permitido conseguir un método de enseñanza efectivo y progresivo que ayuda a nuestros alumnos a conseguir el objetivo en el mínimo plazo de tiempo.

    Enseñamos a los participantes de los cursos de surf no solo a hacer surf, también a no depender de nosotros, a conocer el mar y a inculcarles los valores y filosofía del estilo de vida surfero.

    La seguridad es un factor fundamental en nuestra escuela, todos nuestros monitores de surf están titulados y formados en primero auxilios, prevención de riesgos y seguridad.

    Nuestra escuela tiene como premisa y principal dedicación la enseñanza del surf, tanto a nivel técnico como a nivel cultural y medioambiental.

    Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

    Cambios o cancelación por parte del cliente:

    1. En el caso de que el cliente decida reprogramar o cancelar la actividad reservada  podrá hacerlo de forma GRATUITA, dentro del plazo indicado por la escuela en la información de la misma actividad, a través de la plataforma.

    Accediendo a:

      1. Bookings
        1. Reprogramar o cancelar. En este punto podrá elegir la fecha a la cual desea reprogramar su clase o cancelar y optar a la devolución de su importe

    Cambios o cancelación por parte de la escuela:

    1. Si las actividades contratadas son canceladas por motivos meteorológicos (lluvia, vientos extremos, tormenta eléctrica, etc) o por falta de condiciones oportunas para la práctica de dichas actividades (olas en el caso del surf) la escuela propondrá al cliente las siguientes alternativas:
    • Cambio de fecha para realizar la actividad contratada.
    • La realización de una actividad alternativa.
    • Si el cliente no pudiera cambiar las fechas o no estuviera interesado en realizar una actividad alternativa se le ofrecerá un bono equivalente a la cantidad pendiente de la actividad contratada válido por 1 año desde la fecha de emisión.
    • Devolución del dinero
    1. Las actividades requieren de un número mínimo de clientes para que puedan desarrollarse, el mismo se encuentra especificado en los “REQUISITOS” de la actividad. En el caso de que no se alcance este mínimo la escuela se pondrá en contacto para reprogramar la clase o de no ser posible se le devolverá el importe de abonado.
